InForm Imaging's MRI suite at dusk
Our story

Why InForm exists.

Most MRI clinics start with a scanner. InForm started with a purpose.

The reason

If MRI has advanced so far, why are people still waiting months for answers?

A torn meniscus. A stress fracture. An ACL that isn't quite right. The injury happens in a moment, but the answer can take months. First the referral. Then the wait for an appointment. Then the wait for the read. By the time someone knows what's wrong, they've often lost real time they can't get back.

Where it all started

Built by an MRI physicist.

For years, our founder Adam Dvorak, PhD, worked as an MRI physicist, developing and optimizing MRI technology alongside leading manufacturers and research teams.

Advancing image quality
Improving scan efficiency
Increasing accuracy

But despite those advances, clients were still waiting.

“After spending years improving MRI technology, I realized the biggest limitation wasn't the scanner, it was access.”

The funnel of pain

Adam watched friends, family, and fellow athletes experience what he came to call the funnel of pain.

An injury would lead to a doctor's appointment. Then an X-ray. Then referrals. Then weeks or months of waiting.

Treatment often began before anyone truly knew what was causing the pain. The injury was often manageable. The waiting wasn't.

Why specialization matters

InForm focuses exclusively on extremity MRI because specialization produces better results.

Every imaging protocol has been developed and optimized for the specific joint being scanned, not adapted from a generic protocol.

Those protocols continue to evolve as MRI technology advances, ensuring every scan delivers consistent, high-quality images for specialist interpretation.

The InForm difference

MRI physicist founded
Built by someone who spent a career improving MRI technology.
Purpose-built protocols
Every joint has its own optimized imaging protocol.
Focused expertise
Specialized MRI for knees, ankles, feet, elbows, wrists and hands.
Expert radiologists
Every scan is interpreted by expert radiologists.
Comfortable open MRI
Only the joint enters the scanner — quiet and non-claustrophobic.
Fast answers
Reports delivered within 1-2 business days.
A better standard for musculoskeletal imaging

Where we're going

We're not trying to build another MRI clinic. We're building a future where people spend less time waiting, more time recovering, and healthcare providers have the information they need to make confident decisions sooner.

As InForm grows, that mission won't change. We'll keep refining our protocols, improving the client experience, and making expert MRI more accessible to the people who need it most.

“We don't measure our success by the number of MRI scans we perform. We measure it by the number of people we help move forward.”

Where it all started

The problem wasn't the scanner.

Long before founding InForm, Adam Dvorak, PhD, spent his career advancing MRI technology itself. As an MRI physicist, he worked across the full spectrum of MRI, from developing advanced imaging techniques for leading hospital MRI systems to helping define the future of portable MRI technology designed to bring medical imaging to underserved communities around the world.

His research focused on one goal: producing faster, higher-quality MRI images. Along the way, he developed novel imaging techniques, collaborated with MRI manufacturers including Philips, GE HealthCare, and Hyperfine, and worked alongside international research teams to translate new technologies into real-world clinical practice.

He led a multidisciplinary development team that produced two novel low-field MRI techniques and more than ten conference publications, all with the goal of improving access to high-quality medical imaging.

His work has resulted in 19 peer-reviewed publications, nearly 900 scientific citations, and innovations that continue to influence MRI research today.

Despite everything the technology could do, one problem never disappeared.

People were still waiting.

“After spending years improving MRI technology, I realized the biggest limitation wasn't the scanner, it was access.”

Why specialization matters

Focused by design.

Most imaging centres try to be everything to everyone. We don't.

Adam often says, “Sometimes you don't need an entire toolbox. You just need the right screwdriver.” That's exactly how we built InForm.

We don't perform full-body MRI. We don't try to image every anatomy. We focus exclusively on joint MRI because specialization creates better outcomes.

Every protocol has been designed specifically for the area being scanned. Every workflow has been built around those examinations. Every improvement we make is focused on producing sharper images, greater consistency, and a better client experience.

As MRI technology advances, our protocols continue to be refined, ensuring every scan delivers the highest-quality images possible for specialist interpretation.

Our goal isn't to do more. It's to do one thing exceptionally well.
